Mr. Filippetti is a graduate of the University of Connecticut with a Bachelor of Science in Accounting. He is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Connecticut Society of CPAs. He is a member of the Supervisory committee for Charter Oak Credit Union, and also currently is on the Board of the Groton Parks Foundation.

He has over twenty years of experience with not-for-profit clients, including numerous engagements prepared in accordance with OMB circular A-133 and the State of Connecticut Single Audit Act. Mr. Filippetti resides in Mystic.
